"Un camino hacia el destino" is a Mexican telenovela produced by Nathalie Lartilleux for Televisa. It's a remake of a Mexican telenovela La hija del jardinero and it aired from January 25 to July 17, 2016. The main stars are Paulina Goto and Horacio Pancheri.


Synopsis[]

Luisa Fernanda Pérez, a beautiful, 18-year-old student, has two passions: mastering the violin and gardening, a skill she learned from her father, Pedro, the former groundskeeper of the wealthy Altamirano family's estate. A chance encounter with destiny alters her life after she is injured in a car accident caused by Luis (her biological father), a playboy lawyer. Luisa Fernanda soon falls for his stepson, Carlos, an attractive, young doctor treating her at the local hospital.

  • Production of the telenovela started in November 2015 in Villa Victoria, Mexico.
  • Daniel Arenas was the first actor attached to the project, due to his work on former Lartilleux's telenovelas 'Corazón indomable' and 'La gata'. He was later dropped from the project. Carlos de la Mota and Osvaldo de León were also in consideration for the lead male role, however Horacio Pancheri was ultimately confirmed as protagonist Carlos Gómez-Ruiz.
  • Natasha Dupeyrón was considered for the main female role and Laura Zapata was considered for the role 'Lupe' that ultimately went to Rocío Banquells.
  • It was also Gustavo Rojo's final telenovela because passed away 10 months after the end of the show.
