Synopsis[]

Everardo is a powerful businessman in Mexico, who runs 'Rey Grupo Industrial'. He is married to Manuela and they have three sons: Everardo, Guillermo and Matías.

Behind the empire of wealth, there is a story of betrayal and deception meticulously made by Everardo Rey, a man who grew up in the countryside with Pedro Malvido, his best friend. Both were poor and in their quest to improve their quality of life, they went to seek the "American dream." In the US, they agree to forget about Manuela, an upper-class girl who was loved by both of them. After several years and having made capital, Everardo and Pedro returned to Mexico in order to start a glass collecting business. However, Everardo forgot his agreement with Pedro and married Manuela, accusing Pedro of false fraud.

Once free and penniless, Pedro learned the details of the fraud charge and the betrayal of his friend, so together with his family, Pedro Luis tries to start over, but always waiting for revenge against Everardo King.

In addition to this, a deep and real love is born, far from hatred and revenge, between Pedro's daughter, Lorenza and Matías, who try to calm family hatred, in order to be together.
